Vior Shiraz Warm climate of the 2005 harvest, more riper and sweeter fruit can be noticed in the wine. Cooler fermentation temperatures ware followed to keep extraction optimum and to concentrate on retention of varietal fruit aromas. A longer barrel matureation time was given to soften up tannins and integration. Rasberry, back strong flavoured dishes. |

Vior Chardonnay 100% The wine was fermented with specially selected wine yeast to produce more polysaccharides for a fuller and richer mouthful. The wine was aged on the lees for the full 7 months allowing for less autolyse. Lots of honey, vanilla, lemon, and tropical flavours to be found in this wine. Minerality comes forward and this wine do very well with salads and fish dishes. |

Vior Souvignon Blanc A very balanced growing season delivered excellent fruit with lots of "cooler" varietal flavours than usual. Quality consistant and the grapes turned the wine into a superb complex, but subtle wine. Some of the fruit were picked very early to conserve the greener Sauvignon Blanc aromas, and a heigher natural acid. The wine shows aromas of green fig, grass and gooseberry on the nose. The palate is well balanced with a good weighty middle palate and fresh lingering finish of lemon and lime aromas. |
